To date or not to date
So a certain Mr. A has been asking me out for a very very long time and I’m in two minds whether to accept his invitation. I feel that his perception of dating might be a little traditional, and there is a likely chance that he is one of those guys who tends to move too quickly.
We have met twice at friends parties, and already he has asked me if I’m keen to take a trip over the weekend with him, which I find is just…odd.
Oh, and not to mention his embarassing habit of using every medium possible to deliver the message, whether it is facebook, text, email, regular phone call, you name it he’s done it.
To call back or not to call back…tis le question. Oh Mr. A, if only you weren’t so dorky!

Summer Fling or Real Love?

Singles’ Parties…would you go?
I have personally never attended a singles party. I have attended a party hosted by a single person, but never had the courage to put myself out there at a real mixer and say, “Hey, I’m single.” I somehow get the feeling that maybe people might be too conscious of their surroundings at a party with a label. If you introduce two people in a casual party setting, no labels attached, I’d figure their chances of hooking up would be a lot higher.

I don’t see the point in getting all huffy and puffy…but
I’m a total health nut, and I love a great run, or an intense workout, and the other day I was clearing my wardrobe of all the old clothes that I no longer wore, when I realized how much excess in fluff I had, and how awful my workout gear actually was.
I workout 5-6 days a week for over an hour in a PUBLIC place in old clothes and gym shorts. I probably own a couple of decent Nike capris, but that’s that.
I did some research on my favorite websites and they showed me the right path to maxing out my credit cards this weekend.
I wouldn't want to sweat in this.

I really like this one. Okay I’m totally kidding about the treadmill statement. It’s got the support for the chest area and the fit is great. I’m generally partial to Nike bottoms more than their tops though.
Although, what I think Nike makes the best is….

I’d still prefer a phone I think. I’m traditional that way. I thought his was really cool though. LG came up with a watch that is actually a phone. I’m not sure if they have officially launched it. When I bought my Prada phone I saw these in a glass cabinet but they were not on sale yet. Hmm…

This little baby is fantastic! Blackberries are the best organizers, hands down. I think the Palm would come in a close second. I’ve had Nokia PDAs before and they do pretty well too.

The Long Line for Jobs………………………………………………………………….
A friend of mine in New York was moaning about how terrible the job market is and how she can’t seem to find anything at all. Her case is a little different, she needs her visa sponsored, and not many employers are generous these days.
I have heard some recession horror stories myself. I found this video online recently, which was simply unbelievable. A line for a job fair longer than the one at Ben & Jerry’s on Free Cone Day?? How could it be????
